Sr Software Developer

Kitestring Consulting Inc. dba Kitestring Technical Services seeks a Sr Software Developer to Perform development of software applications for client’s various project needs; Design and develop software pertaining to various aspects of client systems including Toshiba 4690 OS, Linux, and cloud-based platforms, among other platform technologies; Design and develop system components, including the development of both Business Logic components (developed primarily using Java, JavaScript, and C++, among other technologies and frameworks), as well as User Interface components (developed primarily using Java, JavaScript and XML/JSON, among other technologies and frameworks); Design and develop flexible interfaces using Java, JavaScript, and C++ to allow virtual access to the applications from multiple platform independent clients; Maintain and test existing software applications; Conduct periodic Unit, System, Integration and Regression testing; Responsible for the creation of automated testing tools using a mixture of software technologies.

40 hrs/wk; M-F 8am-5pm. Regular daytime hours M-F

30 open roles.

Based in Bentonville, AR, w/ domestic travel to unanticipated client sites as needed.

Requires a master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field of study plus two (2) years of professional experience. In the alternative, Employer will accept a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field of study plus five (5) years of professional experience. Employer requires any length of experience with the following: object-oriented languages such as Java, or Objective C, or C++; create and execute unit, system, integration, and regression tests; develop custom logic to address customer requests; Requires a solid foundational knowledge of software development processes and procedures. The acceptable alternate occupations are Engineer, App Dev or Prog Analyst &/or similar.  Candidates must take a software development skills assessment test and earn a score of at least 50% and pass a technical interview. Requires domestic travel to client sites as needed. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience. Reqs soft dev skills assessmnt test w/ score of at least 50% & a tec intrvw.

$105,000 - $140,000/ Year.
