Eastern Illinois University seeks a Clinical Database Associate in Centerton, Arkansas. Remote work is an option Duties: Design, troubleshoot and maintain SQL queries, MS Access reports and Excel files. Maintain and expand LAMP (Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP) based environment. Interact with disparate groups to gather and analyze user requirements while collaborating with all levels of employees on a daily basis. Research new and novel approaches to resolve the issues/put new features in place the new system. Proactively audit the system to improve efficiency and end-user ease of use. Create and/or update policies and procedures currently in place, including data loading, pharmacy compliance, report generation for outside entities, and security rules and user roles for databases. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or related. 5 months of experience in Designing, troubleshooting, and maintaining SQL queries and MS Access reports; Maintaining and expanding a Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP based environment; Using high-level, general purpose programming languages like Python and style sheet languages like CSS required.
